# Access profiles

Each user of the organization has an **Access Profile**. The profile sets what the user can do:

| Permission | Basic | Operator | Manager | Administrator |
|---|:-:|:-:|:-:|:-:|
| View organization, send documents and view templates | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Delete, cancel, refuse, pause and resume documents they created | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Create and manage templates they created | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| View the organization's documents, folders and restricted templates | | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Move documents they created | | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Delete, cancel, refuse, move, pause and resume any document | | | Yes | Yes |
| Create and manage folders and templates | | | Yes | Yes |
| Create, edit and delete contacts | | | Yes | Yes |
| Manage users | | | | Yes |
| Manage organization (settings, integrations, webhooks and billing) | | | | Yes |

Some instance settings change this table:

* If the instance does not let everyone create documents, the instance administrator must allow sending.
* The instance can let the Basic and Operator profiles manage contacts.
* Pausing and resuming documents only shows if the instance has pausing turned on.

Besides the organization profile, a user can have a role in a folder. The folder role gives access to that
folder's documents.
